HR Green, Inc. and Thompson Elevator Inspection Service, Inc. Form a Strategic Alliance to Help Municipalities Streamline Plan Reviews & Inspections
June 2, 2017
(McHenry, IL) – Helping Chicagoland municipalities with efficient plan reviews and inspections has been the mantra for HR Green, Inc. (HR Green)’s Building Department Service group and Thompson Elevator Inspection Service, Inc. for many years. Today, these seasoned organizations announced a strategic alliance uniting their teams of highly qualified and certified professionals to help Chicagoland municipalities realize greater efficiencies and enhanced customer services.
This strategic alliance will focus on building plan check and inspection services for the Chicagoland municipalities they serve. The streamlined approach between the two organizations will help them serve their clients with greater efficiency and will ultimately get buildings occupied sooner. This will assist municipalities by not only enhancing the customer service experience for their constituents, but by returning valuable resource funds to further enhance the community for residents, businesses and visitors.
Together they will provide government Building Department Service offerings for a building’s life cycle (commercial or residential). The strategic alliance provides the “triangle” of building, fire and elevator code compliance and compliments HR Green’s single source solution for building and homeowners.
“Having worked with some of HR Green’s Building Department Services staff for many years, this strategic alliance is an ideal way for us to work together to help streamline inspection and plan review services for many of the Illinois municipalities we serve.” said Patty Thompson Young, Manager, Thompson Elevator Inspection Service.
“As part of HR Green’s ongoing commitment to helping communities provides a single source solution to process, review, inspect, and approve new construction and improvements, this strategic alliance allows us to work together to improve efficiencies that will help our municipal clients and their constituents.” said Timothy J. Hartnett, HR Green Principal/Vice President, Practice Leader – Governmental Services – Midwest.
This team can quickly mobilize qualified ICC and QEI-certified plan reviewers and inspectors, engineers, architects, certified building officials, accessibility specialists, and counter staff. With more than 30+ years of experience in the elevator industry, each elevator inspector is QEI Certified and State of Illinois licensed to provide plan reviews, acceptance and routine code inspections and other code requirement assistance for projects. Building on this vast experience, our alliance team will continue to be a true partner with Chicagoland agencies to efficiently process projects.
